An alternative, breathtaking route to experience the sacred Mount Kailash and Lake Manasarovar is through the stunning Limi Valley, located in the remote Humla district of western Nepal. Our journey begins with a pick-up from either the airport or railway station in Lucknow. From there, you will drive to Nepalgunj, Nepal. Upon arrival, check into a luxurious 5-star hotel for your stay. Enjoy a delicious lunch at the hotel, followed by a visit to the sacred Bageshwari Temple, an important spiritual site in the region.
In the evening, there will be a briefing session at the hotel to provide important details and preparations for the next leg of your journey.
After breakfast, we will proceed to Nepalgunj Airport for our flight to Simikot. The flight, lasting about 40 minutes, offers stunning views of the surrounding landscapes, so be sure to enjoy the scenic beauty along the way.
Upon arrival in Simikot, we will check into our hotel and take some time to relax and acclimatize to the altitude. After lunch, we will visit the local village temple and explore the surroundings, allowing for further acclimatization.
In the evening, dinner will be served at the hotel, followed by time to unwind and rest.
After breakfast, we will begin our journey in a 4x4 Bolero Camper. Today's drive will cover approximately 70 km, taking around 7-8 hours to reach Tumbling in the beautiful Limi Valley. Along the way, you'll be treated to mesmerizing views and the ever-changing colors of nature, making the long journey a truly scenic experience.
We will provide you with a packed lunch during the drive. Upon arrival in Limi Valley, check into your resort and take some time to relax and unwind. In the evening, a delicious dinner will be served at the resort.
Note: Limi Valley is renowned for its breathtaking stargazing. On clear nights, you’ll have the opportunity to view the Milky Way Galaxy and countless stars, making it an unforgettable experience.
Today is the day we have all been eagerly awaiting – the darshan of Kailash and Manasarovar. After breakfast, we will begin our journey towards the Lapcha Kailash Manasarovar viewpoint. The distance is about 30 km, and the drive will take approximately 2 hours, so we will start early, around 6:00 AM, to witness the stunning, clear views in the morning light.
Upon reaching Lapcha, you will have an unobstructed view of Mount Kailash and Lake Manasarovar, with Lake Manasarovar just 7 km away. Here, we will spend ample time for prayers, puja, and meditation, allowing you to fully immerse in the spiritual energy of this sacred place and create unforgettable memories.
After spending meaningful time at the viewpoint, we will return to Tumbling for lunch. In the afternoon (weather and time permitting), we will visit a 1000-year-old temple before heading back to Simikot.
This day will be filled with spiritual significance and awe-inspiring views that will stay with you forever.
Today is reserved for the Kailash Manasarovar darshan. In case the weather is not clear, we will make another attempt to visit the sacred site for a clearer view of Kailash and Manasarovar.
Today marks the final day of this unforgettable journey. After breakfast, we will proceed to Simikot Airport for a 40-minute flight back to Nepalgunj, offering beautiful aerial views of the landscape. Upon arrival in Nepalgunj, we will begin our drive back to Lucknow, where we will drop you off at the airport or railway station for your onward journey.
