Overview
Embark on a once-in-a-lifetime spiritual journey to Mount Kailash and Lake Mansarovar in Tibet, two of the holiest sites in Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, and Bon. This 15-day Yatra is a transformative pilgrimage that takes you through Nepal and the Tibetan Plateau, offering a unique opportunity to connect with the sacred energy of the region and explore its deep spiritual heritage.
The journey begins with a day of sightseeing in Kathmandu, where you'll visit revered temples and UNESCO World Heritage sites like Pashupatinath, Boudhanath Stupa, and Swayambhunath. Afterward, travel through the lush hills of Nepal and cross into Tibet, where you'll experience the high-altitude beauty of the Tibetan Plateau.
The pilgrimage includes both the Outer Kora (the full circumambulation of Mount Kailash) and the Inner Kora, a more intimate and challenging trek around the sacred mountain. The Outer Kora offers spectacular views of Kailash's north face and the serene landscapes surrounding Lake Mansarovar, where you will perform ritual baths and spiritual offerings.
You’ll also trek through the Dolma La Pass, the highest point of the Yatra (5,645 meters), and visit significant holy sites like Gauri Kund and the Saptarishi Caves, where great sages are said to have meditated. For those seeking a deeper connection, the Inner Kora allows pilgrims to get closer to Kailash, offering unparalleled spiritual experiences.
With ample time for acclimatization, spiritual rituals, and reflection, this Yatra is more than just a physical trek — it is a journey of the soul.
